TabTrade Broker Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker

Tab Trade — The Short Version

TabTrade.com launched in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.

The BlackBull connection is relevant. It suggests the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. Still better than a founder with no industry background.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.

Market coverage: FX, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For a broker that is a few months old, that coverage is not narrow.

Platforms

You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from one account. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Getting both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, automated trading, huge user base. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.

FIX API is there for algo traders but requires the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be in the works. That will round things out when it lands.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Straightforward. $0 to start. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can be under half a pip. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade does not.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not something the average person. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.

Execution Speed

The execution is where this broker stands apart. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. The average platform run 100ms to 300ms.

Should you care? For short-term trading, it does. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Combine that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and what you get is strong. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

This is the part that requires honesty. Tab Trade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If that makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.

But. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement is not cheap. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. This does not make it safe. But factor into your decision.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade offers bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Typical deposit match. You fund your account, TabTrade add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before funding.
